Connectivity

Super-fast connectivity you can rely on

Connectivity

FLR uses the UK’s leading business-only network provider to deliver high-capacity connectivity solutions with top-notch security and guaranteed high-speed performance.

The state-of-the-art infrastructure spans over 3000 exchanges so that we can provision fibre coverage with bandwidth ranging from 10Mb to 10Gb+.

Market-leading coverage

The network has extended its reach beyond Openreach and has aggregated with other major UK providers such as Virgin Media, TalkTalk Business, CityFibre and BT Wholesale. These relationships ensure we can deliver market-leading coverage across the UK by giving you carrier diversity through one relationship for top operational efficiency.

Enhance your service with “bolt-ons”

We also offer a range of ‘bolt-ons’ service enhancements that can configure solutions precisely as your business requires—from IPv6 routing to BGP public peering. Adding bolt-ons can be defined at the time of order or added to a solution once live.

Connectivity Solutions

FLR enables MPLS and Ethernet solutions through just one network and supplier, with access available via Fibre Ethernet, EoFTTC, FTTP, Cellular Ethernet Broadband FTTC and ADSL. Layer 3 solutions are bespoke to meet the needs of individual businesses and, with a range of diverse, resilient routing solutions, and integration to leading Cloud, UC and SIP providers, they provide a complete solution.
SD-WAN is a way of creating a multi-site Wide Area Network (WAN) using internet connections rather than private connectivity. Our cutting-edge SD-WAN product gives unprecedented control and visibility over how a network is behaving and what interventions might be required. SD-WAN is available as a fully managed or co-managed solution, depending on the level of support you need.
Fibre Ethernet (also called leased lines) offers a dedicated and symmetrical bandwidth service delivered on uncontended fibre access speeds from 10Mb up to 10Gb. This is all backed up by industry-leading SLAs. Ethernet bandwidth can be increased quickly and easily, in line with your emerging business needs.
FTTP is full fibre delivered straight to your business premises. It provides a rapid fibre-optic connection directly from the exchange, enhancing the speed of service and network reliability. It is asymmetric, meaning you can download more data than you can upload. This solution will be suitable for small/satellite offices but only sometimes necessary for larger businesses that require low latency and a highly secure connection.
FTTC offers download speeds of up to 80Mb, and uploads of up to 20Mb. FTTC is a contended product and may be impacted by network congestion at peak times. FTTC can support a single service, such as Internet or 1-Voice Telephony. For the application of multiple services, we recommend you have an Ethernet service.
Cellular Ethernet is a quick, easy-to-deploy, secure alternative to wired connectivity. All network traffic is delivered privately back to the core network via discrete interconnects and does not pass through the public internet—removing the need for VPNs. Ideal for remote or temporary sites, and areas requiring rapid deployment as well as a failover service. Cellular Ethernet can support single or multiple services, including Internet Access, SIP or MPLS and is available as a Layer 2 or Layer 3 solution.
FLR's ADSL2+ solution is business-grade, offering download speeds of up to 24Mb with quick and efficient implementation. ADSL is most used as a backup product or in areas where FTTC or FTTP are still not enabled.
EoFTTC delivers Ethernet-style service capabilities via superfast broadband. This product offers symmetric traffic profiles where upload and download speeds are the same and access to the full range of network SDN features.
